Roll7‘s critically acclaimed Rollerdrome and OlliOlli World have been abruptly removed from Steam.

Although there has been no official statement regarding the reason for the removal of these highly praised skating games from the store, both titles were originally released under Take-Two Interactive‘s indie publishing brand, Private Division, prior to its acquisition by a currently unidentified buyer, believed to be Haveli Investments, towards the end of last year.

Neither game is visible when searching on Steam, and accessing the specific URL reveals a message that the titles are “no longer available on the Steam store”. This occurs despite the fact that Roll7’s previous titles, OlliOlli and OlliOlli 2: Welcome to OlliWood, are still available for purchase.

Interestingly, both Rollerdrome and OlliOlli World remain accessible on the PlayStation Store. Although these listings still credit Private Division as the developer, the outdated Steam listings – which were quietly modified last week – were updated to reflect 2K as the publisher.

As of now, it remains uncertain whether this is merely a mistake, a licensing issue, or an indication that Roll7’s catalog did not transfer to the unnamed buyer and still belongs to 2K.
