It has been an eventful week for Game Pass!
The weekend is here! There are likely hundreds of games to explore on Xbox over the next few days, featuring numerous Xbox Game Pass additions, some genuinely excellent Free Play Days titles, and even a few playtests through the Xbox Insider Hub.
Here’s what we’re diving into this weekend:

I am actually engaging in a few games I wouldn’t typically play at the moment! Instead of testing out Alan Wake 2 through Xbox Free Play Days, I’ve opted to start with Alan Wake Remastered and tackle the sequel later on. For some reason, I’ve never fully experienced it, so I’m eager to immerse myself in it more this weekend.
The other game on my agenda is Starfield. It has been a while since I last played Bethesda’s epic sci-fi RPG, but I’m really looking forward to finally trying out some of the mods that have been added – especially the Star Wars ones. I appreciate the concept of Starfield, but I believe it needs that Star Wars twist to truly captivate me long-term.

Another Call of Duty season means I will be diving into Black Ops 6 this weekend, and it looks like there’s going to be a double XP event as well. So far, I’ve been mostly playing the new Zombies mode, so I will likely continue with that for now – I think ‘The Tomb’ is the best BO6 Zombies mode so far!
In addition to some COD gameplay, I plan on returning to Assassin’s Creed Mirage this weekend. I picked up that Deluxe Version on sale right when Xbox’s Lunar New Year sale started, and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the game so far. This more simplified Assassin’s Creed style really resonates with me – if you enjoy classic AC, then Mirage may be worth snatching up while it’s heavily discounted!
