The Cole Order isn’t halting

After what has been years of rumors and conjecture, we may finally possess our most compelling evidence of a Gears of War remaster series thus far. Renowned Xbox insider eXtas1s recently shared a video dissecting various events unfolding at Microsoft right now – and he alleges that the Gears series is indeed being prepared for PS5.
The video in question is in Spanish, but a post from gaming forum Resetera has translated the Gears segment via Google Translate. Here’s what eXtas1s stated, approximately translated into English:
“I will discuss the Gears Series because many people have tagged me to verify its existence, and interestingly it does exist, and I will confirm that on the day the Gears Series is announced, which I do not know when it will be, but it is likely to be revealed as multiplatform on the first day.
I reiterate once more. When all these remasters are unveiled, remasters of the old Gears games are set for cross-platform play simultaneously. The only aspect I have yet to verify is the launch of a Switch version; however, it will be cross-platform on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.”
Needless to say, the translation is a bit rough considering it has been processed through Google’s online translation tool, but the essential information is present. According to the generally reliable insider, this Gears Series appears to be genuine – and although we don’t yet have a date, it is expected to come to Xbox, PS5, and PC when it finally releases.
The insider has also retweeted the post below, which succinctly summarizes the details along with a link to their video:
It is essential to point out that this Gears Series has not yet been announced by Microsoft, so it’s prudent to take all of this information with a grain of caution – even though it comes from a credible source. The timing of this leak is intriguingly coincidental, particularly following Xbox head Phil Spencer being seen revisiting the 360 versions of Gears 2 and 3 in recent weeks.
