Since its initial launch in December, the Final Fantasy developer’s JRPG homage FANTASIAN Neo Dimension has received an update for the Switch and several other platforms.
Although there isn’t a new narrative, this latest update introduces several important modifications to enhance the “smoothness and enjoyment of gameplay.” Below is the complete overview, provided by Square Enix’s official website:
Fantasian Neo Dimension Update – January 31st, 2025
We have now launched a patch update to ensure a smoother and more enjoyable gameplay experience. This update includes improvements to camera adjustments and controls, along with a new feature related to difficulty settings.
Platforms: Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam®
■ Modifications
- Adjustments to movement control using the analogue stick during camera shifts in the gameplay.
- “Vibration” option has been added to settings, allowing the modification of controller vibration preferences.
- “Camera Interpolation Time” option has been included in settings, letting players adjust the speed of camera rotation while moving through the environment.
- For a second or additional playthrough, “Custom Difficulty” can now be selected from the difficulty options.
- The time needed to press and hold the “Fast Forward” or “Skip” button has been decreased.
■ Bug Fixes
The following issues have been resolved:
PlayStation®5 version
- Under certain conditions, the controller could unexpectedly stop responding.
- Under specific circumstances, the game could unexpectedly close.
