Capcom is evidently in a generous spirit. They are set to present not just one but two showcases next week – with one themed around Monster Hunter Wilds and the other highlighting a variety of forthcoming titles, including Onimusha: Arrangement of the Sword.

If that appeals to you, the events are scheduled to kick off at 10pm GMT/2pm PT next Tuesday, February 4th. First in line is Capcom’s Spotlight showcase. This will span approximately 20 minutes and spotlight three titles from the publisher’s portfolio: Onimusha: Arrangement of the Sword, Capcom Fighting Series 2, and Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Series Arcade Classics.

Onimusha: Arrangement of the Sword was released in December and is not expected until next year (roughly twenty years after the franchise’s previous entry, Onimusha: Warlords), making it slightly concerning to announce so much information so quickly. As for Capcom Fighting Series 2, it still lacks a release date beyond 2025, so we can likely anticipate one – plus, we might also receive a release date for Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Series: Arcade Classics on Xbox following a series of technical discussions last year.

After the conclusion of Capcom’s Spotlight, there will be an immediate 20-minute presentation focused on Monster Hunter Wilds, which will be just weeks away from its February 28th release by that time. We can look forward to seeing some monster reveals, a new biome, and I might just squeal with delight if they announce the return of the sea-squirting Cthulhu cuttlefish elder dragon Namielle.

So mark your calendars; next Tuesday, February 4th at 10pm GMT/2pm PT for all the latest Capcom updates. The publisher has yet to clarify where you can catch this event.
