Swing it (yet another time)

Continuing with the theme, Sony’s PlayStation team at San Diego Studio has today revealed that MLB The Show 25 is set to launch on Nintendo Switch on 18th March 2025.

This year’s installment marks the significant twentieth anniversary of the series – “a milestone that celebrates twenty years of baseball legacy, innovation, and unforgettable experiences for baseball enthusiasts globally.” This edition will feature three cover athletes: Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and Gunnar Henderson.

Sony will share its “first look” gameplay trailer next month on 4th February 2025 via its San Diego Studio’s social media channels. Pre-orders will also commence on the same day, including a standard and deluxe edition through the official game website, platform stores, and retailers. The deluxe edition will provide Early Access on 14th March.

Fans can also look forward to weekly feature reveals, as well as a “Feature Trailer Deep Dive” hosted by MLB Network’s Robert Flores, alongside “feature premieres” from the development team.
