However, in this realm of humorous literature, the Worst Bot Ever is Ballpoint, a Decepticon whose alternate form is a standard-sized ballpoint pen. If you thought G1 Megatron’s transformation into a handheld firearm was somewhat peculiar, Ballpoint takes that same concept to its comedic extremes.
Now, Skybound Comet, the family-friendly label of Image Comics’ subsidiary Skybound Entertainment, has unveiled a sneak peek of the all-ages OGN Transformers: Worst Bot Ever – Meet Ballpoint, the first installment in a series of graphic novels authored by Brian ‘Smitty’ Smith and illustrated by Marz Jr.
The preview allows us to discover just how ineffective Ballpoint can be, and we also gain insight into the unique bond Ballpoint holds with Decepticon leader Megatron – at least in his own imagination.
