Sega has unveiled its own membership program, simply titled – wait for it – Sega Legend.
Players can register for free right now via the official website, with the service offering to deliver regular perks and rewards to individuals who enjoy Sega and Atlus games across all major platforms.
The registration process is quite simple, and once you are done, you may also link your gaming profiles from Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam, with Epic Games support rolling out soon.
At the moment, there are no specific material rewards for Switch users, with the primary incentive being a Kazuma Kiryu costume DLC for the upcoming game Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii (available until March 7, 2025). However, we anticipate that there will be plenty to look forward to in the upcoming months, especially with the arrival of the Switch 2.
Although not yet available as of this writing, the service will also allow you to track games you’ve played from Sega and Atlus, with information retrievable through the web portal. There hasn’t been any announcement regarding when this feature will be launched, but we can’t imagine the wait will be too prolonged.
Last year, the company removed SEGA Mega Drive Classics from availability before stating that it is “evaluating” the concept of developing its own subscription service for games. If something like this does come to fruition at some point, it will likely be associated with the newly launched Sega Legend program.
