Nintendo recently revealed details about the Switch 2 earlier this week, and while much of the conversation revolves around the new hardware, there’s also been a great deal of chatter regarding the upcoming Mario Kart game.
Currently, the most significant topic of discussion regarding this new installment is the fact that there have been 24 slots identified on the starting grid. If you’ve played Mario Kart over the years, you probably already realize that the player count has increased from eight to 12, and this appears to be yet another leap.
It remains unclear whether this will apply to every race or if it is just for a specific mode, but it has certainly stirred excitement among kart racing enthusiasts online. We’re eager to hear what the Nintendo Life community thinks.
Would you embrace 24 racers with open arms, would you prefer to see a fully developed battle royale-style race similar to F-Zero 99, or do you believe Nintendo should scale it back? Of course, nothing has been officially confirmed yet, but we’re still eager to hear your opinions—so please participate in our poll and leave a comment below.
