Exciting Release Date Unveiled for Netflix’s Witcher Film: Sirens of the Deep Featuring Doug Cockle
Sirens of the Deep, the most recent captivating movie in The Witcher series from Netflix – which is perhaps most significant due to the fact that Doug Cockle will once again voice the iconic Geralt of Rivia – now has its release date confirmed, streaming starting 11th February.
Sirens of the Deep is based on The Witcher author Andrzej Sapkowski’s short story A Miniature Sacrifice, and begins with Geralt delving into a series of assaults in a coastal town. However, as events unfold, the beloved white-haired curmudgeon soon finds himself entangled in a conflict that has persisted for centuries between humans and merfolk.
“He must rely on allies — both old and new,” Netflix hints in its announcement, “to unravel the enigma before the tensions between the two realms escalate into full-blown war.”
Geralt will be joined by Anya Chalotra and Joey Batey, reprising their roles from the live-action TV series as Yennefer and Jaskier respectively. The film is directed by Kang Hei Chul, who also directed Netflix’s previous engaging Witcher movie, 2021’s critically acclaimed Nightmare of the Wolf.
