“Exciting New Horizons: Manor Lords Update Introduces Bridges, Rivers, and Innovative Features!”
Manor Lords today marks its fourth major update as early access progresses, introducing a new bridge-building feature, bug fixes, and various experimental modifications.
The bridge-building employs the same road construction tool and comes with two new maps, one of which features a significant river, making bridges essential. Another aquatic addition is a stone water reservoir, providing an increased water supply, while taverns can also be upgraded to level two.
A further new feature is an expanded Overstock setting, allowing players to better monitor the surplus items placed in stalls or the tavern beyond current requirements.
These features arrive alongside a robust set of bug fixes, crash resolutions, performance enhancements, and more.
Additionally, there are several experimental changes, including an increase in cliff heights to ensure they are less vague (along with fixed pathfinding issues); modifications to construction costs to encourage a more varied resource usage; adjustments in food consumption to balance all food types; and alterations to order power selection so locations are chosen from a limited pool to ensure vital resources are available.
The full patch notes for this update, 0.8.024, can be found on Steam.
Manor Lords is currently available on PC via Steam, GOG, Epic Games, Microsoft, and on PC Game Pass.
Although there is still no announced date for its 1.0 release, updates such as this indicate that developer Slavic Magic is actively working on the game.
