Nice Video Games: Turkish Mobile Studio Secures $30 Million Funding for Expansive Growth
Magic Form and Automotive Match creator Nice Games has successfully secured $30 million in Series A financing to enhance its portfolio of mobile offerings.
The Istanbul-based studio acquired the financing merely nine months after its inception. Its initial games have generated over $4 million in gross in-app revenues within less than three months.
The funding round was spearheaded by Balderton Capital, with support from current investors Bek Ventures (formerly known as Earlybird Digital East), Laton Ventures, and angel investor Mert Gür.
Original Titles at Nice Games
Nice Games asserts it has achieved success by developing original titles rather than replicating existing mobile games—a strategy it believes sets it apart from some of its competitors.
“We are dedicated to capturing the most precious resource of our players, their time. To achieve this, we are fiercely focused on delivering a high-quality experience with a casual game design, enriched by social features,” said the studio’s leadership in an announcement.
“With two immensely successful titles already in our portfolio, we’re establishing a multi-studio entertainment powerhouse that fosters genuine emotion and connection—something truly distinctive in the casual gaming arena.”
Nice Games plans to utilize the funding to expand into global markets, including the US, and to launch a “flagship genre-defining game” in 2025. The studio anticipates growing its team from 14 employees to over 40 within the coming year.
