Maximizing Your Microsoft Rewards and Xbox: A Guide to Earning 10,000 Points Monthly

By on January 7, 2025 0 5 Views

We recognize how excellent Microsoft Rewards is; however, did you know that if you reside in a specific area and have access to all your MS Rewards benefits, you could potentially earn around 10,000 Microsoft Rewards points each month?

That’s equivalent to nearly £10 / $10 worth of complimentary Xbox credit each month! Sure, it’s not as high as it once was (20,000 was very achievable until 2024), but £120 / $120 worth of credit in a year is still not bad at all.

In this Microsoft Rewards guide, we will outline how you can accumulate 10,000 points each month with the help of Xbox. However, keep in mind that certain offers are only available in specific regions and to certain users, so while we can take advantage of this at Pure Xbox, you may not have the same options.

So, to ensure you know how to gather Microsoft Rewards points quickly, follow these tips, and you will be all set.

Daily Tasks

Kicking off our Microsoft Rewards guide, here are some examples of daily tasks:

Bing Searches

Each day, after completing Level 2 web activity, you can use Microsoft Bing to earn 90 points through PC searches, 60 points from mobile searches, and an additional 12 points for using the Microsoft Edge browser for those searches.

  • Bing Searches = about 5000 points per month

Daily Set

Every day, when you sign into the Microsoft Rewards dashboard on a browser or the Microsoft Bing app on Xbox, you can complete a daily task worth at least 30 points per day, plus earn bonuses for doing this consistently.

  • Daily Set = over 1000 points per month

Daily Achievement

If you achieve any achievement in an Xbox or PC Game Pass title, you can claim an additional 5 points per day. This used to be 50 points until it changed in November 2023, so unfortunately, it is not as appealing as it used to be.

  • Daily Achievement = around 150 points per month

Daily Play

If you play any game from the Xbox Game Pass library for at least 15 minutes, you can earn 10 points for that day. While that’s not a lot, it adds up to approximately 300 points if you do it throughout the whole month—better than nothing!

  • Daily Play = around 300 points per month

Daily Streaks

When accessing Microsoft Rewards on a (PC) browser, you’ll notice something called “Daily Streaks,” which allows you to accumulate 150 bonus points per week—plus an additional 1000 if you’ve earned enough puzzle pieces.

  • Daily Streaks = roughly 600 points per month + 1000 bonus occasionally

Daily Check-In

If you use the Microsoft Bing app on mobile, you can frequently earn about 100 Microsoft Rewards points per week as part of the “Daily Check-In” feature, which simply requires you to tap the “Rewards” tab and then press “Day 1” (or whatever day you are on) in the “Daily Check-In” section.

  • Daily Check-In = approximately 400 points per month (when it is available)

Read To Earn

Scroll slightly below the “Daily Check-In” option on the Bing app for Android and iOS, and you may occasionally see an option called “Read To Earn.” Tap this, and you can read various Microsoft Bing news stories for 30 Microsoft Rewards points per day. This feature is targeted at specific users and only appears on certain occasions, so you can never really know when it will show up…

  • Read To Earn = around 900 points per month (when it is available)

Xbox App Bonuses

If you find yourself in a region where Xbox Game Pass Quests are accessible on the Xbox App for mobile devices, you can do several tasks to earn Microsoft Rewards points efficiently on a daily basis. Open the app, tap your profile picture in the top left corner, and then see what’s on offer. Playing a game of Jewel is a fast and easy task, for example.

Due to the former Play With Friends on PC quest, this used to be a very rewarding way to earn points, but now it only gives around 40 points per day. Still, it’s definitely better than nothing!

  • Xbox App Bonuses = over 1000 points per month

Weekly Tasks

Next in our Microsoft Rewards guide, here are the weekly tasks you can perform to earn points:

Weekly Console Bonus

One of the great new Microsoft Rewards features for Xbox users is something called the “Weekly Console Bonus“, which rewards you for simply playing games for five consecutive days. If you’re an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate member, you earn an extra small bonus on top, meaning you could potentially earn over 1000 points per month (in certain regions).

  • Weekly Bonus = 1000+ points per month (in some regions)

Weekly PC Bonus

If you’re fortunate enough to be in a region that supports it, there is also a Weekly PC Bonus for Microsoft Rewards that works similarly to the Weekly Console Bonus, potentially netting you around 1000 points per month.

  • Weekly Bonus = 1000+ points per month (in some regions)

Weekly Streaks

A new Xbox Game Pass Quests feature for 2025 allows you to earn points by completing Weekly Streaks. If you play for five days in a week, you could earn around 200 points, and continuing your streak throughout the month will unlock multipliers that increase the amount you can earn. Definitely a rewarding strategy in the long run!
