Introducing the Marvel Rivals: The Spectacular Vampiric Season Unveils The Fantastic Four

I certainly have some Fantastic Four news for you (it’s Monday, so let me share this). At the end of the week, the Fantastic Four will be making their entrance in the free-to-play hero PvP shooter, Marvel Rivals.

The daring group – consisting of Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, and the Thing – will be joining the game as part of the inaugural season, titled Eternal Night Falls, which carries a vampiric theme.

“Darkness envelops New York as the Timestream Entanglement traps Doctor Strange in the Entangled Astral Plane, scattering the pages of the Darkhold. Dracula and Doctor Doom disrupt the moon’s orbit, shrouding the city in perpetual night and unleashing a horde of vampiric beings,” states the official description.

“With the world on the edge, the Fantastic Four unite with legendary Marvel heroes, collaborating in a monumental struggle to shatter the mystical gloom using science. Join the fight against Dracula with the Fantastic Four in Marvel Rivals!”

The opening season of Marvel Rivals launches at 1am PST on Friday, January 10th. That translates to 9am for those of us in the UK. You might also want to check out a teaser for the upcoming season and the debut of the Fantastic Four above. As you can see, the artwork also includes H.E.R.B.I.E., Marvel’s Humanoid Experimental Robotic, B-Type, Integrated Electronics.

Marvel Rivals has become extremely popular since its launch. Its inaugural weekend saw 10 million players join online to take part in the action.
