The job cuts were revealed over the weekend in a message circulated on the studio’s social media by CEO Ticket Lyons.
He stated: “Today, we regret to announce that we must part ways with some of our skilled team members. This decision was incredibly tough and highlights the difficult circumstances many companies in our sector are currently dealing with. We are profoundly thankful to each individual who has devoted their effort, enthusiasm, and dedication to creating transformative entertainment alongside us.”
He did not provide further details regarding the number of employees affected by the layoffs. GamesIndustry.biz has reached out for further information.
This marks the second round of layoffs for the Life is Strange creator this year, following Deck Nine reducing 20% of its workforce in February.
