EA Introduces a Complimentary 2D Sports Game for Xbox Users to Grab This Week

This time, it’s a title from Star Wars!

On Tuesday, Xbox and EA surprised gamers by presenting Battlefield 1 Revolution at a 100% discount, allowing anyone with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (or EA Play) subscription to claim the game for free.

At that moment, we mentioned that more games could be offered before the promotion concludes on December 26th, and today, the second title has arrived! For all of Thursday, EA is providing Star Wars Battlefront 2 at no cost on Xbox consoles.

This also includes the “Celebration Edition” of the game, which features a plethora of in-game rewards.

You might remember the extensive controversy that surrounded Battlefront 2 upon its release in 2017 (largely due to its heavy reliance on loot boxes), but the game experienced significant improvements in the years that followed, making it a fantastic multiplayer experience even nearly a decade later. There is also a compelling single-player campaign worth exploring.

We hope this isn’t the end of the complimentary games from EA, as Titanfall 2: Ultimate Edition seems to have been hinted at as well… it’s another title you should definitely consider adding to your library. We’ll keep you updated if it becomes available!
