**Diablo 4 Offers Free Holiday Trial as It Rivals Path of Exile 2**
An accessible trial of Diablo 4 is presently available, as Blizzard contends with the initial early access launch of Path of Exile 2.
This complimentary trial is available across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC until January 3rd and features the new Spiritborn class from the Vessel of Hatred expansion.
Additionally, the game is currently offered at a 40% discount on Xbox and PlayStation, and a 35% discount on PC and Steam, should you wish to convert the trial into a full purchase.
The Vessel of Hatred expansion was released in October, introducing the Spiritborn class alongside a new jungle area.
“A refined, captivating enhancement that grips you tightly – featuring possibly the finest character class in Diablo’s legacy,” states our Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred review.
However, Diablo now faces stiff competition from Path of Exile 2, another ARPG that has recently launched into early access this month.
Prior to its release, it garnered 1,000,000 early access registrations, and on Steam, it quickly achieved a peak concurrent player count of 578,569.
“Soulslike excitement merges with exceptional production quality to offer Path of Exile 2 a remarkably impressive package, even in early access,” notes our Path of Exile 2 early access review.
