November is typically regarded as one of the peak months of the year for video game sales, but the leading title of the month should not come as a surprise to anyone. According to market research firm Circana—as reported by executive director Mat Piscatella on Bluesky—Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 once again sits at the top of the list of the best-selling video games for November in the US. The complete list of titles follows, but it may not necessarily reflect the complete picture of each game’s domestic sales, as digital sales for some titles were not included.
It was rather unexpected to see a spike in EA Sports titles—with Madden NFL 25, EA Sports FC 25, and EA Sports College Football 25 following closely behind Black Ops 6 on the list. Undisputed slipped from No. 4 to No. 16, while Take-Two’s NBA 2K25 had a notable leap, rising from No. 17 last month to No. 9 this month.
This month’s list features only three new releases, with Nintendo’s Mario & Luigi: Brothership entering at No. 7, while the remake of Dragon Quest 3 landed in the 12th position, and EA’s My Sims: Cozy Bundle debuted at 19.
Although Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics was not a brand new launch in November, it managed to break into the top 20 with its beloved fighting games, many of which haven’t appeared on consoles in years. This is hopefully a good sign for more classic collections from Capcom in the future.
From Software’s Elden Ring was significantly discounted for Black Friday, but it did not make the cut this month. However, it still holds the No. 9 spot on the list of 2024’s top-selling games in the US so far.
