A peaceful few days ahead for original Xbox launches
Welcome to your Xbox gaming update for December 16-20! The upcoming days are looking decidedly calm for original launches, but we do have several indie titles on their way – including a few that seem particularly intriguing!
Here’s what you can expect on Xbox next week:
New Xbox Releases (December 16-20)

- Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley (December 17): “Join Snufkin and his companion, Moomintroll, as they embark on a camping adventure deep into nature before winter arrives. What should have been a peaceful trip for two turns into a chaotic and heartwarming journey with many new and familiar faces.”
- Infernitos (December 18): “Become a little imp chef crafting devilishly delicious meals for your ravenous demon clients. Transport dishes across the fiery kitchen, carefully pushing and serving them at the tables for your hellish patrons.”
- Montgomery Fox And the Case of The Diamond Necklace (December 18): “An engaging Hidden Object investigation. When crime strikes the countryside, only a renowned urban detective can crack the case.”
- Azura’s Crystals (December 19): “Embark on a captivating quest as Azura, a lively heroine, and explore a realm rich with ancient mysticism. Forge unbreakable connections with mythical beings using the power of Primalis Crystals.”
- Montgomery Fox And the Case of The Missing Ballerinas (December 19): “When the ballerinas mysteriously disappear from the theatre, Detective Montgomery Fox springs into action.”
- Universe For Sale (December 19): “Universe for Sale is a hand-drawn adventure game set among the swirling clouds of Jupiter, featuring sentient orangutans as dockworkers and enigmatic cultists who strip bones to achieve enlightenment.”
- Used Ants Adventure (December 20): “Your challenge is to lead this remarkable colony, restore your army, and learn to wield magic to defend your fellow ants and turn the battle in your favor.”
- Cave Ranger (December 20): “When the Bitty Gang absconds with the town’s livelihood and retreats underground, a solitary, courageous cowboy must step in to save the day. Cave Ranger is an 8-bit inspired, retro platforming experience.”
- Die for the Economy! (December 20): “A tribute to 80s maze-style arcade games. In this title, navigate through a maze while dodging robots, destroying security servers, and making your escape.”
- Ghoulie’s Garden (December 20): “Help Ghoulie, a friendly little zombie, navigate through spooky mazes filled with pumpkins to collect. But watch out — this garden is teeming with ghosts, bats, and colorful clowns ready to make things challenging!”
- Seal: What the Fun (December 20): “An omniverse multiplayer party royale game that accommodates up to 10 players, offering a variety of quick games in just 10 minutes.”
Xbox Game Pass Titles
As far as we know, there are no additional Xbox Game Pass titles set to arrive before the end of 2024.
