Unleashing the Madness: The Outlast Trials’ Latest Update Introduces Nightmarish Weapons and a Haunting Entity

The Outlast Trials has just received a substantial winter update, adding an unexpected element to the already bizarre multiplayer horror game that features a human flesh grinder, a deranged cop, and a man whose head resembles an exploded meatball: hope. 

“Project Breach marks a fresh start for The Outlast Trials,” a press release states, “as one of Murkoff Corporation’s captives, Amelia Collier, begins to resist.” 

Collier stands out among the other non-playable characters introduced in The Outlast Trials since developer Red Barrels unveiled the online multiplayer in 2023. Unlike its antagonists — who have faces distorted by cracked skin, and souls as tainted as a burst pimple — wide-eyed Amelia seeks to fight for her survival using cunning, rather than brute force.
