The Sequence X and S are still available at this time.

Although an update was officially launched for Cyberpunk 2077 earlier this year, the team still wants to provide us with fresh updates! Today’s update brings a plethora of new features that the community has requested.

The top three highlights include a wide array of new character customization options, advancements in vehicle customization, and an improved Photo Mode. However, there is much more included, as detailed in the patch notes.

Speaking of patch notes, let’s take a look! Here’s what’s included in Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.2:

New Features

  • Rayfield’s CrystalCoat™ technology, initially created exclusively for Rayfield vehicles, is now embraced by other automobile manufacturers. You now have the capability to change the paintwork on Herrera, Mizutani, Quadra, and Villefort cars. Friendly tip: Use CrystalCoat™ to deceive the police and reduce your NCPD wanted level!
  • Kiroshi introduces TWINTONE™! While CrystalCoat™ gains popularity, TWINTONE™ elevates your paint jobs to new heights. Just scan a vehicle with your Kiroshi optics, switch to the TWINTONE™ tab, then set the vehicle’s color scheme for a small fee. You can then select the scheme from the TWINTONE™ database under the CrystalCoat™ menu. Here, you’ll find generic color patterns for all CrystalCoat™-compatible vehicles as well as unique designs specific to the vehicle model they were sourced from. Please note that color pattern cloning is not permitted on vehicles associated with quests, owned by the NCPD, or incompatible with CrystalCoat™ technology.
  • All vehicles compatible with CrystalCoat™ and TWINTONE™ are marked with a spray can icon on Autofixer.

The ten most requested vehicles from the streets of Night City are now available for purchase on Autofixer:

  • Mizutani Shion MZ1
  • Mizutani Shion Targa MZT
  • Thorton Galena GA32t
  • Thorton Colby CST40
  • Archer Quartz EC-L r275
  • Quadra Form-66 640 TS
  • Quadra Form-66 680 TS
  • Mizutani Hozuki MH2
  • Villefort Deleon V410-S Coupe (Phantom Liberty exclusive)
  • Mahir Supron FS3-T (Phantom Liberty exclusive)
  • After Act 1, Johnny will now intermittently appear in the passenger seat while V is driving to comment and react to the events happening around.

Photo Mode

  • Drone Camera is now a free camera rather than an orbital camera focused on V.
  • Expanded camera range.
  • Full Collision (ON/OFF) – decides whether the camera takes in-game object collisions into account.
  • Lock Camera (ON/OFF) – fixes the camera to prevent accidental clicks that disrupt the frame.
  • Slow Camera (ON/OFF) – reduces the camera speed for easier aiming.
  • Aspect Ratio (PC-exclusive. Custom resolution screenshots are not available on consoles. Console systems can only export images in the standard 16:9 format.)
  • Characters tab: Spawn up to two NPCs for your photo, with a selection of over 20 characters to choose from. You can modify their expressions, poses, and positions.
  • Lighting tab: Spawn and control light sources.
  • Fixed the Depth of Field ghosting issue.
  • Added a Depth Intensity slider.
  • SmartFrames™ by Kiroshi allows you to display your Photo Mode images in-game by interacting with the photo frames in V’s apartments. You can browse your photo collection in the new Gallery menu tab located alongside Journal, Shards, and Tarot. The Gallery pulls .png images from the screenshots folder on your PC or from your console gallery. For more details on SmartFrames™ and the Gallery, check out this Support article.

Character Customization Additions

  • 32 skin tones
  • 18 lip makeup options
  • 17 nail polish colors
  • 10 cheek makeup options
  • 16 facial makeup styles
  • 4 facial scars
  • 5 eyebrow shapes
  • 4 facial tattoos
  • 2 body tattoos
  • 8 cosmetic face cyberware options
  • Enhanced the Character Creator randomizer to include a brand new Ugly-to-Punk slider. Whether you’re aiming for a subtle, everyday look or a bold, stylish persona for your V, you can now use the slider to find the right balance.
  • Added more secrets to discover in Night City.

Quests & Open World

  • Reworded objectives for quests that require you to wait a specific amount of time to progress. The game is designed so that players cannot merely skip in-game time to reach the goal, requiring them to continue playing to trigger the next event.
  • Cyberpsycho Sighting: Where the Bodies Hit the Ground – Fixed an issue where no shard could be found on the cyberpsycho’s body, preventing progress.
  • Dream On – The Trauma Team AV on the roof will now be well concealed in stealth mode.
  • Heroes – Fixed an issue where the quest, despite being complete, might remain marked as incomplete in the Journal with optional objectives “Talk to Padre” and “Talk to the Valentinos.”

Phantom Liberty-Specific

  • Balls to the Wall – Fixed an issue
