Soulframe Developers Acknowledge Player Feedback on Competitive Elements and Community Features

The developer of Warframe, Digital Extremes, has provided another look at their forthcoming free-to-play narrative action-MMORPG, Soulframe.
In an unusual developer update, Digital Extremes presented information on the pre-alpha, referred to as Preludes, detailing its current status along with “a preview of Preludes yet to come”.
Creative director Geoff Crookes also emphasized the significance of community feedback in development, stating, “input from the community will consistently guide our direction.”
“Since we began allowing players to try out Soulframe in our pre-alpha playtests earlier this year, everything has progressed in amazing ways,” Crookes remarked. “We have always held a grand vision for what we want Soulframe to become, but community insights will forever be our guiding star.”
“That community feedback creates a customized roadmap for adjustments we should implement and focus on in our current Pre-Alpha phase, covering nearly every aspect of the game as we prepare for full public access,” Crookes elaborated. “We’re aware of the community’s concerns regarding combat and the lack of social elements, which is why you’ve noticed these aspects becoming focal points for us as we introduce new features such as social hubs.”
