Godzilla could soon appear in an exciting new venue: Fortnite. A recent report suggests the King of the Monsters may participate in an upcoming collaboration for the highly popular game, along with the entire MonsterVerse.
Noted Fortnite leaker Shiina tweeted on X that they have confirmed “Godzilla is coming to Fortnite,” supporting an earlier post by SamLeaks that the MonsterVerse crossover may also be featured in Rocket League. It remains unclear precisely what this collaboration will entail. Godzilla might be represented as a skin—potentially alongside King Kong—but it’s also possible that the kaiju makes a dramatic appearance on the map as a random encounter in each match.
Alternatively, Godzilla may join the anticipated Fortnite Chapter 6, set to launch on December 1. Before that, Fortnite will host a Chapter 5 and Remix Finale event featuring Snoop Dogg, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD. Earlier this week, Epic Games discussed the decision to bring Juice WRLD to Fortnite, honoring the late artist who passed away in 2019.
Just the day before yesterday, Fortnite introduced the option for your skins to wear Jordan sneakers. There are also other shoe styles included in Fortnite Kicks. Epic aims for Fortnite Kicks to be compatible with about 95% of in-game skins by Spring 2025.
As for Godzilla, this marks the 70th anniversary of the kaiju, and to celebrate, Super7 has launched a new Godzilla Minus One collectible figure. You can also watch Godzilla Minus One at home, either by renting it on a service like Prime Video or streaming it as part of your Netflix subscription.
