Wuthering Waves Set for PS5 Launch Early Next Year
Wuthering Waves creator Kuro Video games has announced a PlayStation 5 release date for its expansive action-RPG with gacha elements.
After its debut on PC and mobile platforms, Wuthering Waves is set to launch on PS5 on January 1st at 10 PM for those located in the UK. Other regions will experience a release on January 2nd, due to time zone differences.
The PlayStation 5 version of Wuthering Waves will be free-to-play, similar to its PC and mobile counterparts. Additionally, a Wuthering Waves Awakening Bundle is available for pre-order through the PlayStation Store for £7.99.
Those who successfully pre-order will receive the following bonuses upon Wuthering Waves’ PlayStation debut:

Wuthering Waves is set in a futuristic post-apocalyptic world and features real-time action combat, as well as voice talent from Closing Story, Baldur’s Gate 3, and more.
At launch, there were several issues and performance concerns. The developer issued an apology and released numerous hotfixes. In June, they again expressed regret over the game’s state.
