The mobile firm has sold all its property to contemporary agency D20
Zynga has pulled out of its web3 mission Sugartown, and sold it to a brand contemporary firm known as D20.
The transfer used to be announced by the latter on social media, asserting it had “got all products and property below Sugartown from Zynga.”
D20 used to be co-founded by Matt Wolf (beforehand VP of web3 gaming at Zynga) and Tommy Ngo (old style in style supervisor for web3 at Zynga). As successfully-known by Pocket Gamer, a workforce member mentioned on social media that “D20 is totally made out of [sic] the contributors of the ex-Zynga web3 team.”
Zynga announced Sugartown in 2023, its first title since embracing NFTs and appointing Wolf in 2021. That used to be sooner than the agency used to be got by Take hang of Two, in January 2022.
